What is a Leagram fundraiser? Leagram fundraisers are greeting based fundraisers
where members of an organization send joint greetings for special occasions, such
as birthdays, anniversaries and other happy days.
How is a Leagram fundraiser managed? Typically the sponsoring organization sends
its members a list of the special occasions of its members on a quarterly basis.
The members of the organization then select the names and special occasions of the
people they would like to send their wishes to, and make a nominal donation ($1-$2)
per selection. The organization then tabulates all of the greetings and sends one
nice card that lists the names of all of the people sending their greetings to the
particular member on the special day.
What does Leagrams.com do? Our web-based software automates the fundraising
process, saving you time and money.
You supply the data (the names of your members and their special occasions), and
then your members simply login to a special website where they can see the special
occasions of their friends and just click on the names of the people they’d like
to send their wishes to. Leagrams.com tabulates all the data and provides an easy
method for you to print cards with the names of the people sending to each particular
member on their respective special occasion.
Who can run Leagram fundraiser? Any organization. These fundraisers are most
common among religious institutions, but even a for-profit company can run this
type of fundraiser and donate the proceeds to a charity of choice.
